Our outgrower model is layered on the backward integration system that feeds into our raw material requirement need. This gives us the opportunity to grow materials that are of high quality that meets industry need. It helps to tackle issues around the traceability of raw materials that we send into the market. The farmers are managed under the cooperative and clustered system, and in some cases, within contiguous locations for ease of production, support, etc
The company is involved in the movement of goods from one location to another. Commodities like grains in feed and food production industries. Raw materials like DAP, MOP, Urea, GAS within the fertilizer production industries. Our main strength within this space is the technology we use to manage and track our trucks while in transit, plus free GIT Insurance on the produce being transported while within our custody.
We have a network of buying Agents across major markets and villages that support our commodity aggregation strategy for key commodities as required by our partners. Our key strength revolves around sourcing commodities like Rice Paddy, Maize, Sorghum, Soya Bean, Millet, Cowpea, Cassava, Wheat, etc.
We facilitate access to quality farm inputs to the farmer network. This is a process of sales and supply of Agrochemical, fertilizers (NPK, UREA, SSP, etc), Improved Seeds, Tractor services, Extension Services, and market access to farmers and clients. This process ensures that we source these inputs from genuine and reliable partners to ensure quality assurance and control.
As part of our strategy to develop key actors within the value chain, we are engaged in training partners in various modules that build their capacity to deliver on specific mandates. Training includes business development and entrepreneurship, financial and gender inclusion in agriculture, Record keeping and documentation in business, GAP, etc. These training are designed for the Agric Extension Agents, Farmers, Business Owners, and other stakeholders within the space.
We finance through farm inputs and not cash to our small holder farmers. We calculate and disburse loans to smallholder farmers in form of improved seeds, fertilizers, and crop protection products, based on farm mapping data availability and creditworthiness of these farmers. These input credits are being paid back in kind with produce at harvest.
The company is specialized in the importation and export of major agricultural materials like cashew, ginger, sesame seeds, soyabean meal, Gum Arabic, etc. We also import raw materials like maize, soyabean and other commodities.
